Amanda González
Attorney
Amanda is proud to join the Law Offices of Kelly Berton Rocco and continue to expand her practice in New Jersey. Licensed to practice law in both New York and New Jersey, Amanda worked in the matrimonial and family law departments at both Eiges & Orgel, PLLC and Spodek Law Group, P.C. following her graduation from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
Amanda worked throughout New York City and Long Island representing clients in matters of custody, divorce, orders of protection, and prenuptial agreements.
While her practice is currently devoted to matrimonial law and domestic relations, Amanda gathered a wealth of experience in different practices that she extends to her client representation. Some of this experience includes: working on commercial and residential real estate transactions, land use litigation, participating in court martials by the U.S. Army JAG Corps and investigation of allegations of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse at Fort Drum, NY; representing clients in Manhattan criminal court through both the Legal Aid Society and New York County Defender services; interning with the Bronx Defenders Family Defense Practice on child neglect and abuse proceedings, obtaining temporary restraining orders for victims of domestic violence and family offenses in Yonkers and White Plains Family Courts under a student practice order, and participating in discovery for civil litigation at Ginarte, O’Dwyer, Gonzalez, Gallardo & Winograd LLP.
When not in the office, Amanda is a mother of two and a certified volunteer firefighter. She loves to cook, spend time outdoors, or curl up with a good book.
